Messages for invoices are set by Division, the Invoice Message, Legal Message, Tow Ticket Message on the Accounting tab. Love that they are exposed now in Beta, was a pain having to ask you add them manually in 2.0.
Would love to see that same format at Lot level, for at least the legal message. Works great at a company like Henry's that once had 18 locations (now down to 6 and they deserve it). The locations were treated as divisions. The locations/divisions were in different counties, sometimes states with different rules and regs, sometimes requiring certain verbiage printed on invoices.
The legal message ie: XXXXX company agrees to mediate all complaints sent to XXXXX Dept of Consumer Affairs which can be reached at XXX-XXX-XXXX.
Or: Towing is regulated by XXXXX Co, Gov or State under code X.XX.XXX.
Smaller companies not needing multiple divisions but having multiple lots could greatly benefit from being able to set the legal message (and others) at the top level by Division, below that Lot would be great and more granular at Account level.
Default could use Division for all invoices, unless it was a release in which case it could be set at Lot level to use Lot Legal message (if you checked a box to use Lot message over Division message). Helpful when the Lots are located in different jurisdictions and the local municipalities require different stuff on the invoice.
OR allow the creation of multiple messages in Dictionary Maint and allow a pick list from Div, Lot or Account. Account level would again be most granular allowing it to usurp Lor or Div message.
A company with different lots in the same state can be in different counties with different rules. An account like Joe's Apartments managed by Bob's Property Management might want additional info like call the Property Mngr @ XXX-XXX-XXXX in addition to the local jurisdictions needed garbledee goop.
