I tried to use the mileage system but it just wouldn't work for some reason I would input the unloaded address loaded and final destination but it wouldn't search. Another problem with the GEO-LOCATE system is that a lot of the times the member or the Motorclub does not know or cannot find an exact address so they give you cross-roads. The problem is that the G.L. system will not accept it they way we input it , and if you accept what it gives you it will change what you had on the adress bar and input something else.

Tracy, thanks for your feedback! I ran a few tests by entering different zip codes into new jobs and existing jobs. All of my tests geocoded and saved with the job successfully.

One thing to keep in mind... If the job was imported from TowMagic and it already has a lat/long, then we do not allow the lat/long to be changed. We do this to stay consistent with what the motor club originally sent over.

Gregory, I'm not sure why the mileage calculator isn't working for you. If you'd like, provide me with your company name and a job number and I can log into your system to see what is causing the issue.

As for geolocating cross-roads, make sure you use "&" or "and" between the street names and include at least a city, state, or zip. I can add an "Update Address" checkbox to the bottom of the geocode screen that let's you select the geolocation without or without updating the address fields. Does that help?
