DA Photos & calls.da.com
Originally from ticket #395.
Just to think about for future, instead of just thumbnails in a browser window some sort of grid display in window with funtions for delete (with proper permissions) and maybe chk boxes for sharing levels like wether to share or show the particular pic on calls.da to a customer or not. We will be scanning everything now, original driver tickets, police forms, DL's and Reg's or Titles upon release and anythign else that we might loose paper wise. And a check box for wether to share with (can't think of their name) whatchamajiggy's the people that want to sell our pictures. That way instead of them having straigt access they could ask for it and we could allow them or not. We don't want them or accounts looking at everything, just pictures of the vehicle. So some could be shared with both, or only one or neither. But an account like the police who are allowed full access to all records could see everything. Just some rambling thoughts before I go... Oh, those were them.

Wow, this is quite a few great features in one post.
We have added the ability to delete photos in the next release. Only users which are logged-in will be able to delete and upload images (now up to five at once). Users accessing the photos page through Dispatch Anywhere are automatically authenticated and do not need to log in manually. Users who are sent the link will need to log in with a DA User account to delete and upload images.
I'll add another option to make images public or private. Only logged on users will be able to see both private and public images. Users who aren't logged in won't be able to see the private images. By default, uploaded images will be set to public. To hide an image you'll need to set it private. Because this feature is not yet implemented I'm going to leave the request as "Planned".

We've added the ability to make images Public or Private. Image links sent via email are restricted to Public images. However, users can log-in to the images page to access private images with a DA account. I'm setting this request as Done.

Images should default to Private not Public.
